I can bring rigour to most software development processes, whether they're small and lightweight (too small to justify spinning up a formal Agile process) or larger and more complex - in which case I recommend an agile process. Either way, I think this simple design process provides a useful structure, and more importantly, it's been tested over the past 6 years and customers find it easy to understand and very comforting.
