Aotearoa government IT concerns

The following is a list of articles (in roughly reverse date order, most recent at the top) from (primarily) the Aoteoroa New Zealand media concerning public service IT, whether it be in government itself or the health, IT, and other publicly funded sectors. There aren't many positive stories. Most related to mismanagement, poor practice, questionable policy, and improper influence by (mostly) US-based mega corporations (whose market capitalisation is comparable or greater than that of NZ's - and many other countries' - economies. That our government allows them so much power, entirely unchecked, is terrifying and, I would argue, a failure of leadership that should be considered gross negligence.
